We know the other one: Always Be Closing.  Well, we do things differently around here.  

Our perspective comes from a critical aspect of our job, and that is that our customers reach out to us on some of the most horrible days of their lives.  When half of someone’s house is full of water or they just had a fire, they don’t want a pitch. They don’t want a price list. They want their life restored, and that’s what our responsibility becomes.  

So, when that call comes, even if it’s at 3 A.M., we show up, take our client’s hand, and start to help them get through what is going to be a very emotional time in their life.  There’s going to be a lot of people coming into their home. There’s going to be movement. Machines. Noise.

In the middle of everything, we let them know everything is going to be okay.  

Our team works in tandem to make sure of that.  

Back at the office, a Job File Coordinator is assigned to our new customer.  They make contact with the person’s insurance company immediately and start the claims process going.  This person works with the insurance adjuster every day to make sure different portions of the claim are approved and that the work gets done quickly.  We know our customers just want their homes back. We want that, too.

Outside the office, there is always a flurry of activity.  A Restoration Manager is also assigned to our new customer.  Their job is to perform all restoration services they need. This includes:

Emergency Roof Tarp and Board Up

When a customer’s property is damaged, one of our first acts is to install a temporary roof tarp and install board ups on damaged windows, doors, and even walls.  This prevents the weather from coming in and causing more damage. It also keeps away unauthorized persons and theft. These emergency services are usually needed in an event of a fire damage or storm damage.

Water Damage Services

We’ve seen water damages of all types.  From washing machine leaks to flooded basements with standing water, to a burst pipe in the middle of winter or any other water damage emergency, we are your Dallas water damage restoration experts. Our technicians will perform water removal services, sanitation, and drying. They will set up professional water clean up equipment according to the square foot that has been affected by the water leak.  

Our professional equipment includes axial fans and dehumidifiers to make sure the house begins to dry properly and quickly. We will also determine if the source of the leak produced clean water or black water, and we will sanitize the area accordingly.  We visit the home every day to make sure our equipment is running smoothly and that our drying plan is advancing to goal. Our efforts ensure the structure is dry and help prevent mold growth and mold damage. All data we collect is sent to your adjuster to help process your insurance claim.

Fire Restoration

Fire damage restoration involves multiple steps.  Fire and water damages often go hand in hand because of firefighting efforts.  While emergency fire clean up service are done, we also head inside and inspect the damage.  This is when we start water damage restoration services, and we also come up with our fire damage restoration process.  

The process is unique for every home we visit. Our Dallas fire damage restoration professionals will remove all debris from the home, take care of fire and smoke odor removal, and deodorization.  Just as important is taking care of everything inside the home, like households items and clothing. We will inventory everything and take it back to our cleaning facility for sanitation, smoke odor removal, and storage.  

Mold Removal

We have a Texas Mold Remediation Contractor license and we routinely help homes with their mold remediation needs. Our Dallas mold remediation experts will perform a mold inspection on the property and come up with a process to remove it. We always follow Texas Mold Law.

Reconstruction

Meanwhile, our reconstruction team is getting prepared to rebuild any portion of the home that was permanently damaged.  They also work with the insurance adjuster to make sure everything that is needed is covered by the claim.

That’s why everyone meets every morning for a Work In Progress (WIP) meeting to talk about every client job.  We make sure we’re all on the same page and know and meet our objectives every day.

Additionally, every Tuesday morning, the sales and marketing department has a meeting that no one is allowed to miss--ever.  Not even the owner is allowed to miss it. Our sole purpose is to bring our files and discuss how each and every one of our clients are doing.  Our questions are simple:

• What happened at their home?
• How quickly did we respond?
• Did we address all of their concerns and questions?
• Did we make it "Like it never even happened.” ?
• Are they safe in their home?  
• Are they happy?

If the last answer is no, we know our job is not done.  We won’t stop until the customer is happy.
