SERVPRO was founded in 1967 by Ted and Doris Isaacson.  While it began as a painting company, Ted and his partner eventually changed to become a cleaning company.  By 1969, it sold its first franchise.  Today, there are over 1,500 SERVPRO franchises across the United States and Canada.
